Responsibilities;
We are seeking individuals who believe that entrepreneurship can be taught and nurtured. The appointee must have a strong command of IT and new media knowledge, enjoy working with young adults, have the patience to develop their entrepreneurial interest. Most importantly, the appointee must have a deep passion to nurture and be a catalyst in transforming them into successful individuals, imbued with integrity and character. Besides teaching and curriculum development work, the appointee is expected to be able to collaborate with industry to enhance students’ learning experience, hence having strong industry connections will be a great advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To undertake teaching activities, including the design and development of course materials, in the area of entrepreneurship
- To supervise and coach students for entrepreneurship competitions, attachment and industry projects
- To nurture, mentor and groom students/alumni who aspire to become entrepreneurs
- To collaborate with industry partners, government agencies and other institutions
Requirements;
1. Master or recognised degree in relevant areas such as Entrepreneurship/Technopreneurship/ Business/Information Technology/Innovations
2. Good interpersonal and communications skills
3. 3-5 years of entrepreneurial experience with strong command of knowledge in the following areas:
- Business Models and Concepts
- Web Site, Mobile Development
- E-Marketing
- Online Retail and Services
- Online Content and Media
- Social Networks, Auctions, and Portals
- Supply Chain Management and Collaborative Commerce
- Cloud Computing
- Startup Funding
