Responsibilities
You will be part of a team that develops and implements the Ministry’s data management policy and strategy to enable more effective use of data to support the Ministry’s work. You will help develop and review the Ministry’s data management policies, standards and guidelines. You will also look into ways to enable the sharing of data among internal and external stakeholders, to support the review of policies, services and service delivery.
Your role also involves developing an overview of the Ministry’s existing data and data classification standards, and putting in place standards, systems and processes to support the integration and sharing of data for business analytics.
You will be working closely with various stakeholders (such as policymakers in the social sector) for this portfolio.
Requirements
You should have a good degree in statistics, data management or related fields, with at least 2 years’ working experience. You should possess strong organisational, multi-tasking and communication skills. Prior experience in data management, business analytics or statistics will be an advantage.
