Supply Planner/Material Buyer Job at West Pharmaceutical Services in Singapore


Job Title:Supply Planner / Material Buyer.
Responsibilities:
-To plan, coordinate, schedule, manage and lead end to end supply planning and scheduling.
-Ensure an achievable Master Production Schedule is in place to support both customer requirements and Company’s revenue objectives
-To maximize machines and tools capacity utilization so as to achieve production output plans, inventory  goals and meet customer delivery date commitments and company revenue plan
-Manage forecast demand fluctuations and analyze its impact to customer’s orders versus equipment and tools capacity material support
-Constantly looking out for ways to reduce order fulfillment lead time and plant  Manage all inbound Air and Sea shipment. Work with shipping agents and forwarder to ensure timely delivery to West. throughput time
-Work with Production teams to ensure productions are carried out in an orderly manner to fulfill replenishment requirements
-Coordinate closely with local and overseas Customer Service to ensure all delivery requirements are captured
-Adhere to cGMP practices in Planning processes
-To plan, schedule and manage and purchase raw material, auxiliary material, process chemicals and other direct and indirect materials including operating supplies, print/pack material
-Maintain appropriate inventory and safety stock level for the plant, to support the production requirement. Manage excess and obsolescence inventory.
-Manage, monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure right quantity, right price, right quality materials are delivered timely and accurately. Work with Purchasing Manager and suppliers to ensure material availability
-Manage all inbound Air and Sea shipment. Work with shipping agents and forwarder to ensure timely delivery to West
-Work with suppliers, Finance department and inter-departments to ensure all necessary documents to clear shipments from custom are available
-Appraise and assess quality and service levels for all suppliers for supplier ratings. Raising of non-conformance reports for material not meeting quality and packaging requirements. Participate in periodic Supplier Audit
-Keep track on price trend and inform Purchasing Manager when necessary to ensure latest pricing are maintained in the Info Record by Purchasing Manager
-Any other duties as assigned by the Superior.
Requirements:
-Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or Business Administration.
-3 to 5 years experiences in Supply Planning and Material Planning/Buying
-Working knowledge in SAP and MS office.
-APICS CPIM certification or equivalent is an advantage

Job Title: APAC R&D Compliance Director.
Our client is the Global Healthcare Giant with operations across 50 countries and products being distributed worldwide. They are currently seeking a R&D Healthcare Compliance Director to join their existing healthcare compliance team in Singapore. This is an exciting leadership opportunity seeking to play a pivotal role in Healthcare compliance with Asia Pacific region
Reporting to the Global R&D Healthcare Compliance Lead, you will be the key contact for the company's R&D compliance policies and procedures within Asia Pacific. You will be involved in identifying potential risk areas in within R&D compliance of the organisation and provide advisory on risk mitigation plans to Senior Management. You will be tasked to implement compliance programs and surveillance initiatives to govern the company's healthcare research efforts in specific research clusters within ASIA. You will also be leading investigation on any compliance gaps or non-compliance and implement corrective or disciplinary actions.
To be considered for the position, you should be in a senior management position with at least 10 years of experience in your belt. Ideally you will come from a R&D background, however, suitable candidates from Clinical, Legal or Finance focus will also be considered. You should have prior experience developing and implementing compliance programs in the companies you worked for. To be successful in this multifaceted role you need to utilize your influence to build strong across teams including Management, Corporate Audit, HR, Legal team and local authorities. This is a regional position and may require the candidates to travel on a regular basis.
