Assistant Manager, Enterprise Sector Development (Industry Development Group)
The infocomm industry is a key contributor to Singapore's economy, fuelling the growth of other economic activities and adding jobs to the economy.
To ensure that the infocomm industry remains globally competitive, the Industry Development Group (IDG) aims to promote innovation, strengthen capabilities of Singapore infocomm enterprises (iLEs) and anchor high-value ICT activities of MNCs in Singapore.
Infocomm vertical strategy and programme development
Assist in the development of strategic programmes substantiated with compelling justification, trends/analyses from market research, industry feedback from engagement with industry players, and subsequently obtain approval to implement strategic programmes for infocomm verticals in the Singapore infocomm industry.
Programme Management
Collaborate with both local and MNC infocomm enterprises seeking subsidies for developing innovative technology solutions and/or providing new technology services by developing funding proposals, evaluating and obtaining management approval to fund innovative or infocomm vertical-related projects
Account management
Research and identify through market reports and site visits, 8-10 infocomm MNC and local enterprises
with high growth potential to account-manage, understand their business focus/mid-to-long term plans so as to identify and initiate areas of development and strategic collaboration such as R&D, pilot-testing of innovative technologies, and flagship adoption projects; and to execute them.
Requirements;
A Bachelor Degree in preferably an Information Technology-related discipline
2-5 years of experience in the infocomm industry, with relevance in government or in an industry vertical.
Able to think analytically and strategise new programmes for infocomm verticals
Preferably with experience in business development
Driven self-starter and team player
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Influencing skills
