Job Description & Duties:
Education / Experience:
a)Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering discipline preferred.
b)Fresh graduates may apply
Job Description:
a)Provide first-line helpdesk and PC troubleshooting support to staff
b)Assist with administration/maintenance of server setups (e.g.rack-mounted servers, various appliances, etc.)
c)Assist with administration/configuration of IT systems (e.g.Sharepoint, Exchange email, anti-spam, etc.)
d)Assist in purchase, installation & tracking of IT equipment
e)Assist in documentation of IT-related procedures
f)Enforce IT security policies
g)After-office hours work will be necessary at times
Skill sets:
•Knowledge in:
1)setup/configuration of popular Microsoft Client-Server software such as MS Server, MS Exchange and MS Sharepoint
2)basic virtualization technologies from Microsoft and VMWare
3)WAN, LAN, switches, network protocols & routing (e.g. TCP/IP, fiber channels)
4)rack-mount appliances (e.g. servers, SANs, disk-arrays, firewalls, UPS, etc.)
•Good desktop troubleshooting skills with MS Windows XP/Vista/7/8
