Job Title:Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain Bakery Division

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Division CEO, Bakery Division, you are responsible for providing leadership, directing strategy, and overseeing execution and implementation of all aspects of Supply Chain Management for the Bakery Division Businesses which encompasses the planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, central kitchen production and all logistics management activities

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for developing, documenting and executing a comprehensive procurement, logistics and distribution strategic plan which will drive optimal customer service and profitability for the Division
-Manage and optimize a robust supply chain logistics network with multiple distribution points across all regions
-Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within international guidelines
-Identify and implement best in class technology and infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business along with disciplines that underlie a supply chain operation
-Develop regional implementation of procurement, production and distribution best practices such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control, demand planning, and SKU optimization
-Drive operational excellence and best practices across the network reducing cost and increasing profitability
-Ensure highest levels of hygiene and HACCP compliant food safety standards in warehouses and central kitchen
-Find innovative and alternative methods to continuously drive down warehousing, inventory and transportation costs; undertake measures to implement industry best practices
-Promote usage of IT-based systems to capture material handling information
-Ensure accurate maintenance and timely update of material stock records in warehouses – material received, issued and stored
-Talent development and succession planning

Requirements:

-Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (5 years in managerial level)
-Degree in Business or related field
-Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply/demand forecasting & distribution execution across a variety of product lines from multiple sources
-Capacity to build relationships internally & externally
-Strong analytical, financial & P&L skill required
-Ability to transform current business model to a supply chain machine
-Experience in building end to end supply chains
-In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes & current best practices
-Able to customize system to company’s  size /scope
-Ability to quickly establish credibility across organization/engage others to ensure the most effective efficient logistics solutions for the varied business units
-Flexibility to seek & incorporate input from stakeholders
-Solid track record for effectively managing/developing a team
-Demonstrated experience in creating/upgrading the distribution function in an organization of similar size and scope
-Experience in supply chain technology/processes such as SAP, IT, ERP
-Decisive, visionary with the ability in balancing tactical and strategic issues
-Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong business relationships
-Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in faced paced changing environment
-Experience in planning, assessing and implementing change
-Solid business acumen accompanied by interpersonal savvy
-Team oriented leadership skills
-Superior communication, presentation and analytical skills
-Traveling required
