Responsibilities;
The Information Systems & Technology department provides IT support to A*STAR and its Research Institutes through innovative and integrated exploitation of Information Technology.

You will be responsible for the conceptualisation, design, development, enhancement and operations of IT applications. You will strategise and identify ways to exploit suitable technologies for IT applications that meet users’ requirements. You will also manage project vendors and infocomm contracts by ensuring contractual obligations are met and projects are successfully delivered by vendors. You add value to end-users by providing advice on best practices in exploiting appropriate technology, reviewing and improving work processes, facilitating and supporting end-users’ change management process.

Requirements
• At least a 2nd Upper Honours Degree preferably in a related discipline
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Excellent planning, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Is independent, resourceful and able to work in a team
• Min. 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT applications development and project management
• Knowledge and experience in SAP-system, .Net and/or Microsoft Sharepoint is preferred
• Strong vendor and contract management skills to effectively manage outsourced projects and operations
• Results and customer-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
