The Auditor-General's Office (AGO) Singapore is the independent external auditor of the Government. Our mission is to aduit and report to the President and Parliament, in accordance with the law, on the proper accounting of public moneys and use of public resources so as to enhance public accountability.

Responsibilities;
The objective of the internship is to provide exposure to the students to have a feel of government auditing work.
The students attached to AGO will carry out independent audits of government bodies and statutory boards with the following objectives in mind:

a. whether public moneys and resources are well-managed and wisely used;
b. whether laws and policies are complied with;
c. whether financial management systems are sound; and
d. whether proper financial records are kept and financial statements are properly prepared.
The students will be provided with on-the-job training by our senior auditors during the attachment

Requirements;
Undergraduates pursuing an Accountancy Degree.
