Responsibilities;
Working closely with a team of experienced Researchers from multi-disciplinary backgrounds, the Researcher will play an integral part in the conceptualisation and execution of research projects related to public housing.
He/She will provide pertinent sociological input and conduct analysis to enhance the value of research projects. His/Her responsibilities include compiling and analyzing the demographic and socio-economic profile of residents, and monitoring their level of satisfaction with various aspects of public housing, with the view to creating a better living environment conducive for building cohesive communities.
Requirements;
The successful applicant should possess a good honours or post-graduate degree in Sociology, Statistics, Economics or Geography. He/she should also have the versatility and ability to conduct independent research and yet be able to contribute effectively as a team player. He/she should have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with people at all levels. It would be an advantage if he/she has knowledge in quantitative analysis and statistical software packages such as SAS.
