The Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises (SCORE) is a statutory board set up under the Ministry of Home Affairs and is a member of the Home Team. As part of Singapore's correctional system, SCORE enhances the employability of offenders and prepare them for the eventual reintegration back to the workforce. SCORE also aims to create a seamless throughcare environment to facilitate their transition from incarceration to community.
Gainful employment contributes to the lowering of recidivism rate. With a set of marketable skills, ex-offenders will have the ability to earn a living and support their families. Holding down a job also occupies their time in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the overall operations of procurement & contract activities by ensuring smooth & timely execution and adherence & compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. You will provide advice and guidance throughout the entire sourcing chain to achieve the best procurement returns. You will also work with divisions in preparing and vetting of tender documents, including drafting contract/specification clauses, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders, and awarding procurement contracts etc. You will also review business processes and recommend solutions for streamlined processes.

Requirements;
- Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated track record & experience in managing procurement activities, including drafting of contractual terms & specifications, evaluation & award of tenders etc
- Knowledge of government procurement policies and project management will be an added advantage
- Supervisory experience in managing a small team
- Strong written and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
