Lead Mechanical Engineer Job Vacancy in Singapore

Job Title:Lead Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities:
1)Ensure compliance with safety standards, local legislation, statutory requirements and regulations as well as Corporate guidelines while performing maintenance related duties and all other engineering work
2)Response to plant requirements, Prompt and timely response to requests for assistance and putting in the time and effort to meet operations expectations
3)Establish preventive maintenance plans for equipment, working close with plant Engineers in area of responsibility based on FMECA results for plant Equipment
4)Technical-Provide technical skills to resolve problems either directly or through accurate identification of a problem and participating with functional engineering to resolve it
5)Perform SAP PM Tasks, MI, troubleshooting, repair for all Plant equipment with the support of the team(s)
6)Supervise the contractor’s work in the facility or shop to guarantee safety and quality and reliability of work
7)Support unscheduled/emergency or schedule plant shutdown as required
8)Liaise with maintenance planner and Engineers to improve PM schedules
9)Utilize the Plant Information Management System (PIMS) to generate trend reports
10)Perform root cause analysis of failures and develop countermeasures to prevent future failing of Equipment
11)Reduce corrective maintenance in area of responsibility
12)Identify First Line Maintenance (FLM) tasks to be carried out by Operating Technicians and make sure that Operating Technicians are properly trained for FLM
13)Propose improvements of installation and utilize the process including proper documentation of the change
14)Ensure that maintenance work is performed within given budget.
Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
-At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical
-Good interpersonal skills and team player
