Global Purchasing Manager Job Vacancy in Singapore

Job Title:Global Purchasing Manager, Natural Commodities-Across Singapore.
7 years experience in commodity trading or purchasing required

Our client is among the leading automotive suppliers worldwide, with a worth of over. They are also a competent partner in networked automobile communication, and currently employs approximately 150,000 people in 46 countries.
They are looking for a Global Purchasing Manager, to procure Natural Rubber. They are open to those with commodity trading experience.
Job Description:
Negotiation and buying of natural rubber on spot market.
Monthly allocation of the purchased NR to the consuming plants.
Optimize Allocation considering, Plant requirements, total costs and existing contracts.
Support negotiation of LTCs (volume, specifications, grades).
Negotiate Forward contracts based on NR committee guidelines.
Ensure availability of relevant supplier specific information.
Provide market intelligence on raw material supply in South East Asian region.
Assess new supply sources for Natural rubber.
Initiate and support R&D approval activities.
The Successful Applicant should have;
Degree/ Diploma in Business
5-7 years experience in commodity trading/purchasing
5-7 years experience in supplier development in the area of agricultural commodities
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in global environment
Possess good team spirit and work independently.
Able to work in a business segment team with international contacts
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
