As a Facilitator, you will assist in procurement activities by NEA departments. As Gatekeeper, you will ensure that government and NEA procurement policies and guidelines are applied accordingly and maintain the standards of integrity and transparency throughout the procurement value-chain. You will lead a team and oversee the procurement functions in NEA in the following areas:
• Setting strategy procurement policy and undertaking procurement policy review
• Improve the procurement governance framework in NEA
• Facilitate the dialogue among the procurement community in NEA
• Advise and guide operational departments in their daily purchases of goods and services on the various procurement rules and guidelines
• Review and enhance NEA procurement process, policies, workflow, forms and templates in
accordance with IM (Procurement)
Requirements;
• Good degree in any discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in government procurement
• Have a good applied knowledge of Instruction Manual (Procurement) and Gebiz
• Posses an inquisitive mind
