Business Analyst Job Vacancy in Singapore


Job Title:Business Analyst (Retail Industry).
Responsibilities:
-Examine performance against industry best practices or standards to identify and quantify opportunities for performance improvements and/or increased profitability.
-Work effectively with both internal and external resources to define analytical objectives, determine data requirements and obtain data required to perform in-depth analysis.
-Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders.
-Develop standard and customized operational reports of performance across various Key Performance. .Indicators.
-Regularly develops and delivers information that influences strategy and identifies opportunities and key trends.
-Must demonstrate proficiency in complex analytical reasoning, and the ability to summarize and communicate complex results in terms of their business implications.
-Promote stewardship: Effectively apply knowledge of industry trends and best practices in providing value to the organisation.
-Develop high quality and visually appealing reports they enable easy interpretation by executives.
-Drive Biz Units’ capability to understand customer behavior: Effectively execute on initiatives and/or functional plans to achieve company goals.
-Ensure individual efforts are integrated and aligned with functional objectives.
-Take prompt, decisive action after analyzing relevant information.
I-dentify and offer possible solutions to issues that may impede collaboration and teamwork.
5 day work week in City Hall
Salary up to $5,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications:
-Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
-At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience in CRM analysis.
-Must be highly proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
-Proficiency with business analysis such as SQL and SPSS
-Applicants must be willing to work in City Hall.
-Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Marketing/Business Development, Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.

Job Description:
Negotiation and buying of natural rubber on spot market.
Monthly allocation of the purchased NR to the consuming plants.
Optimize Allocation considering, Plant requirements, total costs and existing contracts.
Support negotiation of LTCs (volume, specifications, grades).
Negotiate Forward contracts based on NR committee guidelines.
Ensure availability of relevant supplier specific information.
Provide market intelligence on raw material supply in South East Asian region.
Assess new supply sources for Natural rubber.
Initiate and support R&D approval activities.
The Successful Applicant should have;
Degree/ Diploma in Business
5-7 years experience in commodity trading/purchasing
5-7 years experience in supplier development in the area of agricultural commodities
