Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

·Establish, drive, and manage corporate level Design Quality and Strategy Process for architecture and large scale estate planning in collaboration with the respective business / development groups
·Propose Strategic Positioning on design and planning through Independent Research and establish the Strategic Direction together with the respective business /development groups
·Be part of the pioneer team to conduct due-diligent evaluation on new projects or acquisition
·Actively drive the design value add in partnership with the business /development groups throughout the whole value chain of the development project; including project exploration/inception, establishing project design brief, selection of consultants, design reviews, design value engineering, and design audits
·Rolling out processes at HQ level and guide the country DPD to adapt such practice at country level

Requirements:

·Degree in Architecture/Urban Design from a recognized university or possess a professional qualification which is registered with Board of Architects
·Minimum 10 years of experience in master planning / urban design / architecture and design development, with proven records of managing projects from inception to completion
·Knowledge on computer software including AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketch-up is preferred
·Highly analytical on design and possess a good understanding of the entire design, project management, and building process of architecture and estate master planning
·Possess a passionate interest in quality built environments and designs
·Good team player who loves multi-skilled challenges
·Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
·Willing to travel

Our client is a renowned Global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industries. They design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms.
For this client, Timeo-Performance is now looking for a New Building Project Manager to be based in Bandung, Indonesia.

Report to: General Manager

Job purpose:

To define the new building specification and requirements, coordinate the design phase with the investing company as well as architect and contractors to ensure the building is fitting the business needs, and is delivered on time.

Principal Accountabilities:

·To assess the needs for the new building (size, layout, utilities...).
·To define the new building specifications and requirements.
·To work with the Financial Investor on the Project definition and coordinate the internal Company team.
·To follow the development of the Project during construction phase: attend meetings, represent the company in front of the partners, architects and contractors, and ensure compliance.
·To ensure the planning of building construction is respected and spec and requirements are met.

Personal Characteristics:

·Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and/or relevant knowledge of industrial building Project Management.
·Knowledge of Industrial Transfer Management is desirable.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills
·Good interpersonal and persuasiveness skills
·The ability to tackle day-to-day issues whilst taking a strategic approach at all times
·Ability to operate at all levels of an organisation
·Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
